C4Q-Tech/Bash is the official name for Coalition for Queens' (C4Q) annual fundraising gala. I worked on theme conceptualization, website, and creating digital and print marketing collateral.
For the programming, the Chief of Product and I wanted to move away from the traditional format of a brochure or booklet. Following that notion, we began by conceptualizing a theme for 2016's fundraising gala. We moved through a slew of ideas ranging from montage photos of a student's daily life to student portraits inspired by Humans of New York. In the end we decided to focus on incorporating the organization and the idea of a journey was born. From that idea, our designs were inspired by cartography, maps, and legends.
Skills: Adobe Illustrator
For custom C4Q swag, I illustrated the World's Fair Unisphere located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens. The Unisphere is meaningful for the event as it is produced into a trophy that is awarded to a Tech Honoree, Civic Honoree, and the Volunteer of the Year.
I took the lead on designing and developing the event's website, ensuring theme consistency throughout C4Q-Tech/Bash's main digital entity. Earlier versions had Eventbrite ticketing implementation instead of a photo gallery.
